In memoriam Jacques van Oortmerssen

Onderstaand bericht plaatste ik op Facebook bij het plotselinge overlijden van mijn leraar Jacques van Oortmerssen (21 november 2015):

Today my dear organ teacher Jacques van Oortmerssen passed away very unexpectedly at age 65. It is still unreal to me. From the 2,5 years that he taught me I will always remember his huge and profound knowledge of music, his fantastic pedagogical skills, and above all his personal kindness, care and concern for his students.
